THE EXPERIENCE is a week-long series of immersive learning opportunities across High School. Held in January, The Experience offers unique opportunities ranging from international trips to domestic experiences in our own backyard. Students experience unprecedented access to industry professionals, the chance to acquire new life skills and career-focused knowledge, and develop new perspectives on the local community and world as a whole. It is a week dedicated to experiential learning outside of the classroom.

Broadway Bound
This is your opportunity to learn from working theatre professionals as we explore different styles in acting, dance, and vocal performance in musical theatre productions during the day, and take in different Broadway performances each night.
Gleanings for the Hungry
If you have a heart for missions – specifically to feed the hungry of the world – come join us as a volunteer on a week long service team. Gleanings for the Hungry is a ministry of YWAM (Youth with a Mission), located in Fresno, and is the perfect place to serve for a short time, yet make a lasting impact.
Iceland
Explore geology, volcanology, ecology, glaciology, hydrology, climatology, meteorology, oceanology, anthropology, geothermal-ology, and many other ologies as you visit waterfalls, hotsprings, glaciers, lava tubes, geothermal power facility, and the only place you can stand on the North American and European continents at the same time.
Italy
Discover the history, influence, culture, and artistic tradition of Italy through this incredible journey to Venice, Florence, Pisa, and Rome.
Japan
This immersive educational tour offers American students a unique opportunity to explore the cultural, academic, and technological landscape of Japan.
Medicine in the UK
Journey back in time and explore the underground streets of Edinburgh, Scotland, and try your hand at forensic sleuthing in London. Trace innovations that shaped Britain’s modern healthcare landscape, and participate in hands-on workshops to discover how real-life medical careers operate.
Mexico Outreach
Join the Mexico Outreach Team and serve in Tijuana, Mexico, sharing the love of Jesus through building projects, food kitchens, and children's programs.
Panama
Travel to Panama for an immersive experience exploring one of the most biodiverse and culturally rich countries in the world. From the Panama Canal to tropical ecosystems and local communities, students will engage in hands-on learning across science, culture, and environment.

Identity and Heritage
Explore the core of humanities – culture, history, language, art, and social understanding – as you visit with educational institutions, museums, and community learning, all while reflecting an education-focused approach.
Lights, Camera, Action
A four-day high school filmmaking camp, where students dive into the world of movie-making.
Local College Tour
Travel through the top Southern Californian colleges and universities. Explore what each campus has to offer and learn about the college admission process.
Los Angeles Museum Essentials
Travel the greater LA area to visit various museums, cultural centers, and experience the local food scene, learning and becoming immersed in local culture to gain a deeper appreciation of art and the people that have contributed to the city we call home.
Practical Arts
Learn essential skills, including how to take care of a car, a house, a yard, and enjoy the outdoors.
Real Life Law
Don't watch CSI or Criminal Minds; go on this Experience, where you can talk to real people in criminal justice and learn what judges, police officers, and lawyers really do each day.
Songwriting Experience
Students will write original music, lyrics, and compositions -- discovering the musical talent within them.
Storytellers Staycation
A creative writing staycation with special guests including screenwriters, directors, and publishers.
Teachers in Training
Students who are interested in going into education/teaching can experience what it is like to be a classroom teacher.
