Village Christian School implements a dress code for all students, detailed here in this uniform guide. Please read the approved uniform options below carefully, and note that the guidelines differ between the three schools (Elementary, Middle, and High). Elementary School Dress Code
SHIRTS | PANTS | DRESSES
Red, black, gray, or white Lands' End polo with VCS logo
White Lands' End Peter Pan-collared shirt with VCS logo (may only be worn under jumper)
White Lands' End Oxford shirt with VCS logo (for boys only)
Khaki Lands' End Pants with VCS logo
Pants must be worn at the waist.
Lands' End Jumper and red polo dress with VCS logo
Lands' End jumper must be worn with white Peter Pan-collared shirt with VCS logo.

Khaki Lands' End shorts with VCS logo

Please put your child's name on all of their clothing.

Tennis shoes with laces or Velcro fasteners
Solid color socks
Slip-on tennis shoes are not permitted
Hats on designated "hat days" only
Head attire, including bandanas, is not permitted unless there is a health issue
Girls' jewelry must be modest and in good taste. Girls may wear stud earrings.
Dangling earrings are not permitted
Boys' earrings are not permitted
Apple or other smartphone watches are not permitted.
OTHER
After-school activities: Students must continue to wear their uniforms while in child care or while participating in after-school activities.

Gauges and other piercings are not permitted.
GAME DAYS | JEANS DAYS
Athletes must wear Lands' End uniforn bottoms and designated team polos or jerseys on game days. All team members must wear the same designated team polo or jersey. Teams must seek pre-approval from school administration for exceptions.
Ripped or frayed jeans on designated jeans days are not permitted.
AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Neat, clean, modest, and appropriate attire is required. Students who show up to school events and activities dressed improperly may be required to leave the event.
MS PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS
Lands' End PE uniform is required. Black sweatpants may be worn over PE uniform on cold days. (See Outerwear.)

Enforcement
If you are out of dress code, you will be required to correct the violation before re-entry into the classroom. The violation may be corrected by having a parent/guardian bring the approved uniform in a timely manner.
If a parent/guardian is unable to bring the approved items, uniforms will be availabel on campus for purchase.
YOUR TUITION ACCOUNT WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL ITEMS REQUIRED TO CORRECT THE VIOLATION. Options will be limited.
This policy applies to all infractions. Enforcement begins on the first day of school. Students with repeated violations will be subject to discipline per the Student Handbook Policy.
ADMINISTRATION MAKES THE FINAL DECISION REGARDING THE APPROPRIATENESS OF STUDENT ATTIRE AT SCHOOL AND SCHOOL-RELATED ACTIVITIES.
