Our Middle and High School Concert Bands provide students with the opportunity to gain proficiency on their specific instrument as well as become better overall musicians. Both ensembles performance on campus throughout the year, as well as participate in an adjudicated music festival in the spring. We also give our band students the unique opportunity to broaden their ensemble experiences by sometimes combining with our string orchestras and/or choirs. From rehearsal to performance, our goal is to make our students the best musician they can be.
In addition to our regular classes and performances, Concert Band starts its year as the VCS Crusader Band, performing at home football games, pep rallies, and our annual Non-Fire Homecoming celebration.
