75 YEARS OF GOD'S FAITHFUL PROVISION
In 1949, Rev. Phil Gibson's spirit-led vision for a Christ-centered education set a course that has impacted generations of families at Village Christian School.
For 75 years, God has faithfully used parents, alumni, and friends to provide for and protect the VCS community. Now, having recently celebrated our diamond anniversary, we eagerly anticipate the Lord's provision amidst our most ambitious fundraising effort to date.
Village has always been bold in its pursuit of God's plan, beginning with the launch of a school out of Village Church in Burbank and the first “Loyalty Dinner” in 1957 to raise funds for the Sun Valley property purchase.
Through it all, the Lord made a way.
The Anniversary Campaign will take all of us coming together to support our students in powerful and sacrificial ways. As missionary William Carey's words read in the Village Church sanctuary and in the school's chapel, “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.”

THE NEXT 75 Anniversary Campaign aims to raise $10 million that will benefit every corner of the Village Christian community through a brand-new gymnasium/multipurpose Event Center.
NEW UPPER FIELD
EVENT CENTER
This new showpiece facility is the first major campus addition of its kind in decades and will be built on the current softball field behind the weight room.
The venue will feature athletics facilities, office space, an athletic training room, and more, giving our thriving programs room to grow, while alleviating scheduling burdens in the Kendall Pavilion and providing an additional invaluable location for community events and gatherings.

Exciting venue for our expanding – and newly added – programs that continue to compete among the area's best (every varsity court sport has won at least one CIF Southern Section division championship since renovations to Kendall Pavilion were completed in 2011) and send athletes to the next level.
UNLOCKING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Invaluable new space for AP testing, which continues to grow and expand at record-setting levels, including the most tests taken in school history in 2026 and Village’s highest passing rate in VCS history: 87% overall, with nine subjects achieving a passing rate of more than 90%, including five at 100%.
UNLOCKING STUDENT CREATIVITY
Enhanced access and exciting Fine Arts-focused upgrades to Kendall Pavilion give students exciting new potential to explore performing arts opportunities, amplify creative voices, and discover their gifts and talents.
UNLOCKING IMMERSIVE LEARNING
New home for our Athletic Training program, which won the 2026 National Championship in its division at the AACI National Sports Medicine Competition, with students experiencing daily, hands-on learning opportunities in sports medicine, management, and more.
UNLOCKING COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Increased potential for community events, concerts, meetings, guest speakers for parent education, unique workshops on cutting-edge topics and issues, and a valuable new space for parent and volunteer groups to gather for meetings, service projects, and departmental support.
