- I will provide positive support to my student athlete, his/her team, and the coaching staff when at any game, practice, or VCS athletics activity.
- I will not publicly criticize or make derogatory comments to members of either team, fans, coaches, or officiating crews at any VCS athletic event.
- I will maintain positive behavior and attitude at all athletic practices and contests.
- I will only contact coaches outside of game and practice times to arrange appointments to discuss concerns I might have. This includes refraining from approaching coaches immediately before and after athletic contests. Please wait at least 24 hours.
- I will pay the price of admission for each game, making no attempt to circumvent personnel selling tickets at the entrance.
- I will refrain from the use of foul language while on VCS grounds or at VCS athletic events.
- I will refrain from acting in any manner that might be interpreted as aggressive or threatening toward athletes, other parents, spectators, game officials, or school administrators.
- I will refrain from willfully causing damage to property.
- I will refrain from arriving at any VCS athletics activity under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- I will refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages at any school sponsored event, including team meals hosted off-campus.
- I will comply with all directions received from VCS administrators at home games as well as the administrators of other schools at away games.
- I will abide by and support any and all rules, guidelines and policies of our school, the Olympic League, and CIF.
I also agree that if I fail to abide by the aforementioned rules and guidelines, I will be subject to disciplinary action that could include, but is not limited to the following:
- Verbal warning by official, head coach, and/or VCS administrative representative present at the activity
- Written warning
- Parental game suspension with written documentation of incident
- Parental season suspension from all athletic contests
- Parental suspension from all VCS activities
When an individual is directed to leave under the above circumstances, the head of schools, principal or designee shall inform the person that he/she will be guilty of a misdemeanor in accordance with California Education Code 44811 and Penal Codes 415.5 and 626.7 if he/she reenters any district facility within 30 days after being directed to leave, or within seven days if the person is a parent/guardian of a student attending that school. If an individual refuses to leave upon request or returns before the applicable period of time, the head of school, principal or designee may notify law enforcement officials.
